What happens to my tokens if Tokenize.it no longer exists?

The issued virtual shares (“tokens”) and their associated smart contracts continue to exist on the public Ethereum blockchain, regardless of whether Tokenize.it is still active.

The ERC-20 standard ensures long-term compatibility with common blockchain wallets and potential trading platforms.

In addition, the participation rights agreements (Genussrechte) between the company and the investors remain valid independently of the platform. These legal agreements exist separately from the Tokenize.it infrastructure and continue to apply even if the platform is no longer operating.
